Gilbert ArenasProsecutors based the case of NBA star Gilbert Arenas (Washington Wizards) asked the judge yesterday to three months imprisonment for having brought four guns to the Dallas team.
Meanwhile, the defense lawyer for Arenas, a player who is suspended by the NBA since last January and will not act again this season, asked in his final letter to the judge parole and community services for their client.
Both sides presented closing arguments today, three days before they are drawn to the final sentence on charges of possession of firearms without permit to keep them in a workplace. Arenas pleaded guilty.
