Club Nautico Santo Domingo announced Tuesday the thirty-seventh celebration at Dorado Tournament, an event to be held on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 at the premises of Boca Chica.
Maximo Rodriguez, appointed director of the fair, said that about 20 boats will be enrolling on Friday to participate from 7:30 am on Saturday, taking until 5:00 pm to keep the lines in the water. The weighing limit is 6:30 pm.
"This is the first tournament of the 2010 fishing season Club Nautico de Santo Domingo, and like every year, we started with a classic exclusively dedicated to the capture of Goldfish.
The rules that apply are the same for other years fishermen have the opportunity to address any specimen of the species that exceed 15 pounds, "Rodriguez said during a press conference held at the Marocha Restaurant.
The participating vessels may not exceed four fishermen on board, which make up the optional equipment to great prizes, including a special prize for the boat owner.
