Dominican Riders Will go to Panamerican



A selection of eleven riders will represent the Dominican Republic at the Panamerican Cycling Championships, an event that will receive the best cyclists from 17 nations, setting behind the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico.


The Dominican roster that will travel Thursday to Mexican territory.

The participation of the Dominican team is favorable due to the efforts of the Dominican Federation of Cycling (FEDOCI) chaired by Mr. Jose Bautista, who noted that the event will serve as warmup for what will be the performance of the country at the upcoming Central American Games and Caribbean to be held in Puerto Rico.

The Panamerican event, with the backing of the International Cycling Union (UCI) is the most significant of those held on the continent, because in the same part of the best exponents of American cycling.


The event is expected the participation of some 17 nations, among which include the United States, Canada, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Mexico hosts among others.
