A woman who is shaking up the French National Soccer league said in an interview published Thursday that she had sex for money with several players from "Les Bleus" but maintained that none of their clients knew she was under 18 years old when that happened .
The French media have reported allegations of Zahia Dehar, now 18, who claims to have received money for sex with several stars of the selection who will play the World Cup, as Franck Ribery, Karim Benzema and Sidney Govou.
The players have testified to the police and could face up to three years in prison and pay up to 45,000 euros (60,000 dollars) if found guilty. Prostitution is legal in France, but sex workers must be 18 years of age and are legally responsible if clients are not.
At present, the case is just at the stage of judicial investigation and has not submitted any accusation, but the reputation of the players involved are on the table.
"I never told anyone I was a minor", Dehar admitted in an interview published Thursday by the French weekly magazine Paris Match.
She said she prostituted herself since age 16 when she began to frequent the nightclubs of fashion in Paris and that she charged about 2,000 euros (2,650 dollars) per night with a client.
"But I'm not a prostitute," he said in the interview, claiming it was more of a "call girl, because she did not belong to a network or a pimp, which sometimes preferred to refuse to give their services to customers who do not liked.

Dehar said she met Benzema at a nightclub and that he paid for her services. Govou also argued that he did.
Ribery paid for her to take one flight to Germany and spend the night with him in a hotel, like a birthday present to himself, he said. "I am a good gift, do not you?" Dehar said, adding that she was not a fan of the star and Ribery paid the same price as everyone else.
"Be a football star or not, I do not care, is a customer like any other," he said.
Neither player made statements publicly on allegations Dehar Thursday.
Dehar also acknowledged that she offered every detail to the police because, she said, police officers threatened to revoke his French citizenship.
Born in Algeria, Dehar said she and her family obtained French nationality in 2009. She said her family never knew she was working in nightclubs, believing that she just spent the nights in the house of a friend. Dehar said the girl became first company to save money to buy a beauty salon.
