The UEFA president Michel Platini believes the prostitution scandal that splashes to various French international is private in nature but calls for clubs that players attempting to set an example, as Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
"The big question is: the player or athlete, should be a model? It's not easy to answer. That one guy pull a bitch who was less (sic), and unknowingly, I believe, is their business. The problem is with his wife (...)", said Platini, who clarifies that the clubs would like to take the initiative to give players a good image.
In an interview published on Sunday newspaper Journal du Dimanche (JDD), the European soccer chief says there are "good examples" in which look like Messi Barca and Real Madrid's Ronaldo.
"In my day (was a professional soccer player from 1972 to 1987) had more reporters than players who went to whores (sic)," says Platini, who adds that "French is out of control sometimes, but they are young."
When "a boy reaches 14 years with a club, for the institutions, UEFA, FIFA and national leagues, instill values: Educators should remember the rights and duties to young people because the school and the family can not cope" , added Platini.
"But that has nothing to do with (Frank) Ribery," qualifies the UEFA president, referring to the prostitution scandal that has been involved internationally Gallo, suspected of having sex with a prostitute when this was a minor, even without knowledge of that data, according to the actual prostitute.
