Mandela's Grand Daughter Dead in Car Accident

Nelson Mandela's office said a relative was driving the vehicle that killed the great grand daughter of former president and anti-apartheid leader to an accident on Thursday.

Seal Hatang spokesman Nelson Mandela Foundation said on Saturday that the driver was a relative, but could not be more specific. The man's identity has been kept confidential.

Hatang also said there are no plans yet for the funeral of Zenani Mandela, 13.

Police said the man could be charged with drunk driving after the accident early on Friday when Zenani returning home from a concert to celebrate the World Cup.
