The "Cap Cana Fishing Season 2010" will start from 22 to 18 September, organized by Cap Cana.
The details were offered by Ellis Perez, vice president of communications and public relations for Cap Cana, in addition to Miguel Ricart, commodore of the Santo Domingo Yacht Club and Andrew New, manager of La Marina, Cap Cana.
Perez explained that unlike other issues this will be really exciting because it will feature several international tournaments. He said the fishing experience will not only be for the Dominicans, as have the participation of fishermen from around the world who from now prepare to compete and enjoy the experience.
He stressed "with this season of this fascinating sport, Cap Cana is a great time living as an international destination for fishing and navigation, with its spectacular starring Marina."
"Cap Cana has the support of the Santo Domingo Nautic Club to perform one of the best fishing seasons in the Dominican Republic," said Ricart.
He said Santo Domingo Nautic Club included within the "Cap Cana Fishing Season 2010" the traditional national tournaments, "White Marlin Tournament XLV Yacht Club in Cabeza de Toro" and Blue Marlin Tournament XV, "said the athlete.
Among the international tournament to be held include the Cap Cana International Billfish Shoot Out, one of the most famous fishing competitions at international level.
It was held successfully for 15 years at the port of La Guaira, Venezuela, and from this season, the Marina of Cap Cana will be the new host this important tournament. We estimate the participation of over thirty boats, with representatives from different countries
