The Dodgers placed outfielder Manny Ramirez on the disabled list 15 days due to a strained right calf.
Ramirez underwent an MRI on Friday. The injured his calf in the first week of the season in Pittsburgh, and worsened in the last game of the Dodgers in their series against Cincinnati.
Xavier Paul, who was batting .361 with Triple-A Albuquerque with three homers and nine RBIs in 15 games, was called up to replace Ramirez, who is batting .415 with two homers and 12 RBIs in 2010.
