Argentine All-Star Manu Ginobili extended his contract with the Spurs for three years.
The NBA announced Friday that it finalized the agreement after Ginobili was decisive for the team to win 17 of their last 24 games.
The Argentine has spent his entire eight-year career in the NBA with San Antonio, but his injuries in the past two seasons slowed the pace of negotiations between the Spurs and the international player of 32 years.
Ginobili has been averaging 23 points since the break-Star game and returned to the front that helped the team win their last three championships.
