2010 African Cup All Star Team

GOALIE

Didier Ovono (Gabon)

The safest goalkeepers in Africa Cup of Nations. The number 1 from Gabon was an integral part of the defense of Black Panther. The player of Le Mans had great performances, with their strong match-ups and exits to pick schools.

DEFENSES

Isaac Vorsah (Ghana)

Tall and strong, the Ghanaian side was one of the strengths of African runners. He was defending security, with particular note in the passing game, and went with much discretion. Do you know when and when not. He did not miss too Ghana John Mensah, star defender was out injured.

Wael Gomaa (Egypt)

A real rock in the center of the Egyptian defense throughout the tournament. He was one of the reasons that Egypt only conceded two goals. Central may not be a very fast, but his sense of positioning, timing and reading the game, they do stay one step ahead. It's easier to go on the attack if you know a Gomaa has your back.

Samuel Inkoom (Ghana)

The young defender was the talk of many scouts who came to Angola to capture new African stars. It is a very versatile defender, solid and fast, who likes to get loose on offense and put pressure on the midfield, and begin attacking moves.

Sayed Moawad (Egypt)

Between him and Emmanuel Mbola of Zambia should be the choice for lefty lane, but Moawad had more merit to be a veteran player who can return to difícilmenmte have an opportunity like this. Sayed always participated in the attack game, with successful centers and flooding, and never disregarded their backs.

MIDFIELDERS

Seydou Keita (Mali)

We include it even though Mali has not survived the group stage. Barcelona midfielder showed his worth at the start of the tournament, one of the best. He worked hard in midfield and scored no fewer than three goals: A free kick for the 3-1 win over Malawi and two in the 4-4 draw against hosts Angola.

Andre Ayew (Ghana)

The youth came with great responsibility on their shoulders, having attracted much expectation. Ayew had just won the World U-20 Egypt recently, and had to rush his inclusion in the starting Ghanaian due to the wave of injuries. And the kid did not disappoint, being a real threat on the flank left-handed. It shrank to the physique of his rivals and showed great maturity and seniority.

Hmed Hassan (Egypt)

With Mohamed Barakat and Mohamed Aboutrika absent through injury, the creative work was awarded to the captain Ahmed Hassan. And he said, proving that, even 35 years, can shine at the highest level and put the team on his shoulder. He scored three goals during the tournament, two in the quarter-final against Cameroon, where his party won 170 with the Egyptian selection. Deservedly received the Golden Ball MVP of the championship.

Gilberto (Angola)

Gilberto is the fourth player Ahly Dream integrating our tournament. The Angolan was the highlight of the selected host. The end gave the offensive Blackbuck variants, as well as playmaker also unfolded.

FORWARDS

Gedo Nagy Mohamed (Egypt)

The most surprising player of the tournament. She appeared from nowhere to score decisive goals and leap to stardom in Angola. Gedo came from the bench in six games and scored five fundamental goals, including the final against Ghana at the 84th minute that gave the tri-championship in Egypt. It was the scorer of the championship, and that was not the holder.

Asamoah Gyan (Ghana)

The only genuine offensive threat Ghana helped his team to reach the grand final with a series of decisive goals. He scored three in five games, including the vital goals against Angola and Nigeria, in the knockout stages. Two years ago was about to leave the selection because of criticism, and today enjoys the accolades after a great tournament done.
