Surfing in Cabarete

Cabarete will receive more than 80 athletes who will participate in the disciplines of surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing, the eighth time in the event.

Once again, Cabarete welcomes you to the "Master of the Ocean", sporting event that brings together every year to great figures of surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing, both domestic and international, competing to be crowned as "King of the Waves" .

In a meeting with media members and sponsors, held at the Cinnamon Café, Santo Domingo, it was reported that the eighth edition of this amazing water triathlon will take place from 23 to 28 of this month and expects the participation of over eighty athletes.

"We continue with the firm goal of placing the Dominican Republic at the highest levels of these branches of sport," said event organizer Marcus Böhm.

As a novelty, this year's "Master of the Ocean" will include a new discipline (Stand Up Paddle Board) and interested parties may watch the event through the popular social networks Facebook and Twitter. This event also promotes the work of the Foundation altruistic Mariposa, DREAMProject and Limbs for Life, with prizes for the winners of the first places.
