With great success was celebrated the Fourth Cardnet Invitational Golf Cup, taking as its setting the field Diente de Perro at Casa de Campo, La Romana, with 80 players who competed in the scramble mode pairs.
The participants were representatives of dominican banks BHD, Popular, Progreso y Reservas , the telecommunications company CLARO-CODETEL and Popular Inc., entities Cardnet shareholders and corporate customers and related.
Jorge Besosa, chairman of the board of Cardnet, delivered welcoming remarks to the activity.
Janiris De Peña, general organizer of the tournament in conjunction with the team Cardnet, thanked the support of sponsors. Then Besosa and Eduardo Del Orbe, executive vice president Cardnet, proceeded to give the prizes to the winners in different categories.
Category A: Walter Schall and Mauricio Hoyos in net Firstly Santelises and Roberto Alejandro Pelliccione, followed Marranzini and Rudy Javier Soler and Jose Ernesto Garcia and Julio Paulino.
Category B: Jorge Besosa and Juan Ramos in net Julio Cross and Luis Lembert, followed by Francisco Concepcion and Felix Fernandez, Mario Torres and Erick Tirso Perez and Valdez and Leo Morales.
Category C: Raw Fernando Castro Santos and net Alfredo Martin Rosario and Jose Luis Alonso, followed by Edgar Guzman and Federico Valera, Ivan Pagan and Johan Gomez, Eugene Raoult Grullon and Jose Maria Ribas and Damian Santos and Hipolito Sosa.
For the longest drive - Mauricio Hoyos. In closest to the pin: Javier Marranzini. The event was supported by several banks and telephone companies, including maintaining relations with CardNet.
The awards were given at the end of the event.
