SANTO DOMINGO. Robert Weill, chairman of the Hall of Fame's Latino (Sfbl) announced the appointment of Cuqui Cordova as historian of the Altar Deportivo, who will make his first exaltation on May 30 at Alto de Chavon in La Romana.
Immortality will be considered for all players and managers that are weighted baseball leagues in the Caribbean Confederation, the Presidents of the sportswriters of Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, players associations and members of the Committee on Choice of the temple and having four or more years of retirement from the activity for which they are recommended.
Also take into account the players and managers from Colombia, Nicaragua and Cuba. There will be a "niche" for thrusters.
The chairman of the Hall of Fame's further explained that the Latino Commission on Choice, headed by Dr. Luis Schecker Ortiz, will make its recommendations, as the players' union and retired, and baseball fans in the world, through the web.
