The Caribbean Baseball Confederation and Major League Baseball (MLB) yesterday signed a new agreement which in the opinion of the parties involved is fairer than all the previous ones.
Reservation list:
Clubs must send its list MLB 60 players native reserves by 16 July each year. Winter clubs will pay a thousand dollars as fee to submit their lists. Clubs that do not send list in time will be fined $ 500 and lose right players if they are not completed by August 16.
Rosters assets and changes:
The teams will have rosters of 30 players during a match in all winter leagues. A player can not be changed in the winter without the consent of the GL team.
Suspended Players:
Major league players suspended may not play in winter leagues without special permission from the commissioner of MLB.
InterLeague Games:
Teams can play a league against other league, but if it is approved by MLB.
Extreme fatigue:
Players will be deemed ineligible to start playing in the winter leagues from exhaustion when they have had these fees work.
