Dominican Republic Won Gold in Bowling



The delegation of the Dominican Republic is bathed in gold on a day which won five gold medals out of 14 obtained yesterday met the seventh round of the Central American and Caribbean Games which take place here.

With this feat, representing the fourth Dominican moved to Puerto Rico, in the overall medals table. Until last night, Dominicans had totaled 74 medals when it is just half of the event.

These include 19 gold, 14 silver and 41 bronze. Puerto Rico has 14 gold medals, 25 silver and 41 bronze, totaling 80.

The sport of karate athletes led the harvest, when they reached five medals (two gold, one silver and two bronze) while cycling won one gold, one silver and one bronze, for a total of five table tennis annexed its first two medals, including one gold and one bronze, while the bowling was a fight won gold and one silver and two bronze.

The two karate gold medals were won by Ana and Gustavo Montilla Dionisio, while gold was obtained by cycling Augusto Sanchez, table tennis was won by the team of Lin Ju, Juan Vila jr. and Emil Santos, gold bowling was José Miguel Estrada.

The silver medal went cycling team (Augusto Sanchez, and Rafael Tavera Norlandy Wilmi Merán and Gil Santana).

Deivis Ferreras, karate was also won a silver medal, just like Hansel Mercedes struggle.

The bronze medals were the women's cycling team, the women's team table tennis (Eva Brito, Wu Xue, Johenny Lucia Valdez and Mars). They also won a bronze medal in July Jesurrun and Hansel Ramirez, both Greco, Ana Karina Villanueva and Diaz, karate.
