American Serena Williams won the Wimbledon tennis tournament, defeating 6-3, 6-2 in Russia's Vera Zvonareva, its fourth title after their successes in 2002, 2003 and 2009.
With this victory, Williams gets his Grand Slam number 13. This is also the ninth title Williams sisters achieved in eleven editions (Venus, the elder, won five).
"It's great to win four Wimbledon titles. I've made so many aces in the other games. I read my service well and I remained just as well. I did not know which was the sixth (in number of victories in Grand Slam). I love to open a school in Africa and America, "said the flamboyant winner.
"I would love to be remembered as a tennis player but also as someone who has done things to inspire people and help," he continued.
In a no suspense, the superiority of Williams was against Zvonarova total, the number 21 world ranking, which makes it the lowest ranked player in the final after Venus London in 2007.
Serena dominated in every sense the match that lasted one hour and seven minutes, beginning with his service (9 points direct) but also from the back of the court (10 hits against four winners) and online (14 versus 6).
The tennis player from Michigan, which has seven matches without dropping a set, was more impressive than ever in the service, gaining a total of 89 direct points, a record, some at a speed exceeding 200 kilometers per hour.
"I never had served so well," Serena admitted, getting their second title of the year, after the Australia Open in January.
