The umpire Jim Joyce is assaulting his remorse for the wrong decision that deprived the pitcher Armando Galarraga from a perfect game in June.
Joyce pitcher joined the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday night, as a driver during the ESPY Awards. The two shook hands on stage together before announcing the winner of a trophy.
The umpire said backstage to think about what happened every day, and reported that he had trouble focusing on the first two games in which he participated after that meeting of June 2, when he refused to sing out clearly at first, 27, depriving Galarraga perfect game.
Joyce said that until today, the memory error after him. He added that Galarraga deserves an explanation and an apology, but depended on the pitcher to give forgiveness.
